Finding the needle in the haystack - an oil camp in Sahara

For the NGO Global Witness - PRINS Engineering swiftly located a camp for oil
exploration as well as showed the early start of the oil survey in northern
Darfur. The area surveyed covered an area of Denmark and Holland in Sahara close
to the Libyan border. It could be shown that seismic surveys were started in
block 12a. The client was interested in confirmation of the oil camp which could
be displayed by acquiring a high resolution

The dashed
lines are the established seismic grid, black arcs is tracks from vehicles to
and from the camp that via spectral analysis revealed the location of the camp
in the deserted.
